Artist Statement

A human being is a being who is constantly ‘under construction,’ but also, in a parallel fashion, always in a state of constant destruction. Jose Saramago

As a photographer I am conditioned to look out and take photographs that speak to me. At this time in my life, I turned the lens on myself, as I indulged in introspection and internal contemplation, stripping away all that I have known until now, to see who I am without an identity. White is the absence of color and remains as is, seen, yet not descriptive as a color. This series is an exploration of self, as well as an invitation for interpretation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
