Tomorrow’s Giveaway on Instagram is ‘Bow Legs’!

Bow Legs was taken in New Orleans, Louisiana, while I was on my Beauty and Wisdom road trip. As I traveled around the country taking photographs of women over 70 years old at their beauty parlor appointments, I had the pleasure of walking around and exploring the different places. My stepdaughter Ruby, who was 22 at the time joined me for this leg of the journey and we enjoyed Coffee with chicory and Beignets at Cafe Du Monde and Hurricanes and even a trip to the House of Blues. We met this wonderful woman who worked in a boutique and when I saw her tattoos, I had to photograph them… and call it Bow Legs, as I am bow legged. What a great experience and added gift to the documenting I was there to do.
