Infatuation

The Breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you. Don’t go back to sleep.

Our Majesty in Sunrise, Santa Ynez Valley, CA

I’d love to hear why others are infatuated with the sunrise.

It’s universal… we ooh and ahh when we see one.

We can’t wait to photograph one.

Is it the colors? The rise and mystery of how it appears?

Whether it’s vibrant or subtle, it touches us and reaches us in a way that is difficult to explain.

We love to share them. Consider them romantic, and sunset as well.

We witness an instant time-lapse as the sun rises.

There’s nothing electronically manipulated or edited.

There’s no screen between your eyes and the sky.

It just is.

Such a gift.

I love waking up early in the morning and look out my window to see what the sky is going to deliver.

I anticipate walking to my favorite place to watch the sunrise like it’s my birthday, and I receive the most beautiful gift, an extravagant, yet intangible gift.

I photograph the sunrise and then I get to share it.

There’s something special about starting the day with the sun, also starting the day.
Shine on!
